I note scant writing about Health Care recently despite Hillary's statement that her plan for Universal Health Care would deal with recalcitrant Americans (who decline to have her as their "Provider") by having their wages garnisheed. I do not understand why working Americans have not noticed this. They must not know what "garnishee" means in general, or how this policy might affect them the next time they get really sick.

The discerning observer may have noted that Hillary never mentions the words "doctors," "physicians," or "patients." That is because she does not regard these as human beings; she is much more interested in self aggrandizing statistics just as any totalitarian bureaucrat would be. Hillary knows nothing about medical treatment but feels her "stance" is very important to your health. Hillary is a Communist; she just does not want you to call her that.

Hillary detests men in positions of authority and fantasizes continually about bringing them to heel. Therefore her 1994 Health Care Plan would have made the independent practice of Medicine a felony. (The quality of Medical treatment one receives is largely related to the degree of independence of the practitioner.) Hillary wishes to convert all independent practitioners into bureaucrats. She would rather not explicitly state what she intends to do with all American physicians but here it is: simply declare them to be federal government property. You might say it is a form of "imminent domain," but over human beings. Then she can consider Americans to be her serfs and eligible to live on her property but only as she deems appropriate.

By the way I have worked in federal government 'health care' and I can tell you that it is pervaded by the bureaucratic mentality. Doctors are continually pushed to the bottom of the bureaucratic pyramid and prevented from making any administrative decisions. Another tidbit: if you become dissatisfied with your federal government "Health Care" don't worry: the government will be happy to point out to you how the definition of "Health Care" was changed, weren't you informed?.

Why MD's have allowed their profession to be dispirited and dumbed down without a whimper of protest is beyond me. The first step may have been when the Federal government officially demoted "physicians" into "providers."

Those who understand these things need to take action at this time.
